Actually a Dress

As this belly grows bigger and bigger, it’s getting hard to find shirts that are long enough. This top is actually a dress technically, but I’m loving wearing it as a top with leggings. These leggings have been my best friend these last few months. I dare you try and take them from me! It’s not happening 🙂

I have been so grateful that it has been warming up lately. Considering it hailed most of the day today, though, I’d say the weather is still feeling a bit moody. I try and keep a jacket with me for those swings that sneak up on you. This jacket is fun and a little edgy!

For my makeup I decided to keep everything pretty neutral except my lip color. I like to add a little pop sometimes! I’m wearing Desert Sunset blush, IIID foundation, honey illuminator, eyeshadows sabrina, mama, oak, and trust all from HERE

Date Night Dress

It is hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! We have a lot of holidays in February so we actually moved our Valentine’s to August. I still want to bring you a look perfect for the occasion, however! We will be celebrating our Anniversary that week, so whatever your occasion, I have the perfect date night dress for you.

This dress is not maternity, but it does have some stretch to it. The material is thick, so I feel like it’s easier to wear than some other form fitting dresses I have tried. I just can’t get comfortable in those slinky ones knowing that all my lumps and bumps are on display haha! I think the high neckline, knee length, and long sleeves in combo with the thicker fabric make this super comfortable! The side panels are made of a stretchy sheer material, just FYI. I didn’t realize that when I ordered the dress. I just wore a black slip under it, though, and it filled in well. Now I think the sheer panels give it a little more stretching power for my steadily growing belly haha 🙂

My favorite part, of course, is the lace on the bottom. It adds such a feminine touch. I paired it with these red bow heels that are definitely making a statement! Lady in Red

Haha I didn’t know what to title this one. All that kept coming to my head were songs about red dresses 😀 Ha so we will just go with it!

On that note, this red dress is the best ever! It is thick enough to wear without layering, the color is perfect, and the material moves so well. Also, it is like wearing a giant blanket! I love having something that is so easy to throw on, comfortable, and looks good.

I often wear this dress on its own, but here I paired it with a jacket. One of my favorite parts of it is the asymmetrical hemline. I love how it is longer on the sides. I wear it with boots a lot, and I also love how it looks with heels!

The Summer Dress

Sometimes in life you are lucky enough to find an item of clothing you want to wear every day. Even more rare is when you find one that you want to wear every day and also could wear every night! Ha I have to convince myself not to wear this Summer Dress from Brick + Main 24 hrs a day, every day. It is amazing!

I love that it is loose and flowy. Never thought I would find something that I’m grateful doesn’t have some kind of structure or shape to help me out, but I’ll take it!

Want to know the best part? It. Has. POCKETS! I’m still not really sure why people are so obsessed with pockets, but I’m just going to jump right on that bandwagon. Pockets are pretty sweet. I love to wear the front knotted, but as you can see from the top pic, it’s also great down. And according to my daughter, “knotted is just super weird.” I happen to disagree with her, it is actually “just super cute!” It adds a fun touch. I also wore a cotton slip under my dress because the side slits are a little too high for me. I guess I could learn to sew and stitch them down a bit buuuuuut…the dusty sewing machine I bought seven years ago and haven’t touched since says I might as well just wear the slip 🙂

I paired this dress with some of my favorite jewelry pieces. Of course, my Arvo watch is always a staple. I recently received this knotted bangle from Casa de Delia and I’m obsessed. It is so perfect. I also got the top necklace(Evil Eye) in my stack from Casa de Delia. I love how dainty it is and it honestly goes with everything! The bar and charm necklaces are from my sweet friend at Made by Mary. They are personalized with initals of my darling family. I cherish them!

Perfect Peach Dress

Happy Saturday! We have had an amazing week full of sunshine. We planned to work on the garden and yard today, but it is pouring outside! Like run three feet to your car as fast as you can and you still get drenched pouring. I kind of love it. I think rain is so beautiful and it is one of my favorite sounds. It makes it hard to work on the yard, though!

Let’s flash back to a warmer time when I lived in this dress haha. I’m so excited to have it for this summer! I’ve said before that I love to wear dresses, but for the most part once I’m back home I change out of them to something a little more comfortable. I never do when I wear this one from Jane, though. Jane is a site that offers clothing, accesories, home decor, etc. at an amazing discount! I love shopping HERE!

This dress is such a fun color for the warmer season that I’m optimistic will be here for good soon! It is flowy, fun, the perfect length, high neck, I could go on. One of my favorite parts is that it has short sleeves, but they aren’t cap sleeves. They are a little longer, which I think is much more comfortable and flattering.

I also found these darling earrings on Jane! I love that they are larger but not heavy. They are lightweight, which makes it easy to wear them all day!
