Hey! I’m Natalie! Author of AtHomeWithNatalie.com and I’m so excited to be hopping
over here and sharing on Savanah’s blog today about a fun party project I’ve been working on!
I’m so inspired and encouraged by the way she shares her motherhood on her blog and social media!
I discovered her through Instagram and have been following along ever since!
Thankful for her and the amazing community I’ve found through blogging.

I’m a wife and mama to four little ones and a party girl at heart!
I love to make our house a home, do DIY projects and cook yummy food.
I love gathering people together and building community.
My love language is creating magical moments for my friends and family to experience and feel loved and appreciated!

I live in South Carolina with my husband of almost 9 years and our four kids. Sophia, Sienna, Micah and Asher.
I first started blogging soon after I had my first daughter.
I loved having a space where I could share our family life and my creative ideas!
This was a cardboard castle I made for my daughters’ Storybook Princess birthday party
and it only cost me $4! Now she’s all grown up and we are deep in Shopkins obsession. I don’t get it. haha.

Flybird Tees on Repeat

An amazing tee is hard to beat! I have had my eye on a few at Flybird for a long time, and I finally got my hands on this one and this one! They are just as great as I imagined they would be. The designs are so unique, and easily dressed up or down. I have been wearing mine on repeat since I got them!

This “Alive” tee is so soft! It is light and easy to wear. Not to mention the detail on the sleeve is my favorite!

The “In the Clouds” tee is definitely my go-to! I can’t resist anything black, white, or grey. I love how simple it is, yet still completely original!

I love the detail on the bottom, as well as the contrast of the fabric on the sleeves.

Loving the Sun with Swim Zip

Summer is hands down my favorite season! I love the sun, but unfortunately I loved it a little too much growing up and didn’t protect my skin correctly. I’m a lot more conscious now, and I’m hoping it will make a difference! We spend A LOT of time at the lake, river, pool, you name it, so sun protection is definitely a priority. When I first saw the options at Swim Zip, I fell instantly in love! Also, I just met the owner Betsy last night, and she is AMAZING!

There are so many reasons why I love this dress! It has thumb holes, it is lightweight, dries quickly, so comfortable, cinches on the side, comes in amazing colors and patterns, and offers so much protection from the sun! Leave it to me to stick with classic black though haha it is always my fave.

I’m excited to have this next time we go to the ocean. I’m always trying to stay protected through the hours of snorkeling, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, etc. I think it is time for another trip now that I’m daydreaming about all this!

Switching Things up with Eye Buy Direct

I love wearing glasses! However, you may not know that considering I don’t wear them on here that much. Mostly because I haven’t had fun frames with personality and style! I decided I wanted to try switching things up with Eye Buy Direct. I love their clean modern style, and now that I have the Theory frames in Cognac, I may have to try all the styles!

I love how changing up something small can alter the whole look! Since having these frames, I have had a lot of fun creating outfits that coordinate.

Sometimes as a mom, running around crazy most of the time, I need something to switch up the day to day. I love having the option of wearing glasses vs. contacts now!

Perfect Peplum

I am always on the go, and I prefer to be comfortable (as I have said a hundred times before haha) It is THE BEST to find something that looks great and also feels great! This perfect peplum top from Hope Ave. is just that for me. I wear it as often as I can get away with!

I love the loose fit, as well as the ruffle and open back! It’s all in the details, right?

These black jeans are also pretty amazing. My dad always made fun of me when I was younger for having tears in my jeans, but I love it haha! He would ask if I got a discount for them already being worn out. Any of your parents feel that way too?

My perfect peplum, perfectly torn jeans, and perfect black booties are all from Hope Ave. When I walked into the store, I was honestly like a kid in a candy store. Or I guess, like myself in a candy store ha! I could have bought everything in there. I can’t wait to go back!

I finally got some planting done this last week so our house is looking more like a home (or at least like it’s actually occupied haha) I wish yard work was a passion and talent of mine. Maybe I’ll get there someday! I hope you had an amazing Mother’s Day weekend, and enjoy your week ahead XO

Family Hike with Cariloha

Growing up, I remember dreading any time I had to go on a hike. Ha I don’t really know why, I was probably just being lazy. It always ended up being worth it to go! Well, fast forward to now and I love hiking. Not sure when the switch happened, but I’m glad it did. Thankfully, my girls also love it! Even though they are small, that is one of their favorite family activities.

When I got these new pieces from Cariloha’s Bamboo Fit collection, we thought it would be fun to shoot them at one of our favorite family hiking spots. It is so beautiful there, and of course, the girls were excited to go!

The pants, tank, and hoodie that I’m wearing are all made from bamboo! I remember going into a Cariloha store at one of our cruise ports in the Caribean. Everything in the store is so soft! That is how these pieces are as well. I wear this hoodie every chance I get. It is very lightweight, so it has been perfect for the spring!

These pants are also very soft, but honestly, a little thin for me. I ended up wearing some little shorts under them and it worked great. They do have a neat cooling effect that has made them really comfortable to run and hike in, especially in the afternoon heat! Cariloha has lots of options for clothing for the whole family, as well as bedding, bath, and more. All of it is incredibly soft!

I have taken a yoga class up here one time, and I feel like it is such an empowering place to practice. All the beauty around helps me feel grounded, and grateful.

Myla and I tried to do a pose together haha but we ended up just laughing instead!

We had so much fun on our family hike. I’m grateful for my cute monkeys, and our fun adventures! Enjoy your week, hope it’s an amazing one XO

Perfect Peach Dress

Happy Saturday! We have had an amazing week full of sunshine. We planned to work on the garden and yard today, but it is pouring outside! Like run three feet to your car as fast as you can and you still get drenched pouring. I kind of love it. I think rain is so beautiful and it is one of my favorite sounds. It makes it hard to work on the yard, though!

Let’s flash back to a warmer time when I lived in this dress haha. I’m so excited to have it for this summer! I’ve said before that I love to wear dresses, but for the most part once I’m back home I change out of them to something a little more comfortable. I never do when I wear this one from Jane, though. Jane is a site that offers clothing, accesories, home decor, etc. at an amazing discount! I love shopping HERE!

This dress is such a fun color for the warmer season that I’m optimistic will be here for good soon! It is flowy, fun, the perfect length, high neck, I could go on. One of my favorite parts is that it has short sleeves, but they aren’t cap sleeves. They are a little longer, which I think is much more comfortable and flattering.

I also found these darling earrings on Jane! I love that they are larger but not heavy. They are lightweight, which makes it easy to wear them all day!

Anniversary Trip and a Rad Swimsuit

A couple weeks ago, Brian and I were able to sneak away for an anniversary trip to this gorgeous town in Idaho! I was honestly blown away by how beautiful the mountains were, the river running through it, and the incredible wildlife. I already want to go back!

We had no idea when we decided to go last minute, that there was a winterfest going on that weekend. We ended up missing most of it, except for chicken poop (ahem…they used a different word here) bingo. Yes, you read that right. They set out a bingo board and let chicken loose to choose the squares in the most bizarre way possible. Haha…like what?!?! Anyway, back to this beautiful view 🙂

The hotel we stayed in had a private hot springs that has a view of the incredible Sawtooth Mountains. All the heart eyes. We had to walk across a snowy field to get to the hot springs. Ha thankfully my hoodie from Rad Swim is so thick and warm! I thought I was going to freeze to death!

Speaking of Rad Swim…this suit is my favorite one piece I have ever owned! I always have a problem with them being long enough and this is the first one that I don’t feel like I have to battle the whole time I wear it. We even got a little crazy and did some yoga haha!

The hot springs were inside this cute little building!

This suit though…the fringe, details, and open back are too cute to pass up. I honestly love it!

I love wearing fancy dresses from time to time, but some days I just need a more practical option! Chasing my girls around the park and running errands call for a comfy maxi dress!

Snowy Getaway with Arvo

I am so grateful the snow has finally melted and the weather is warming up! I’m definitely a summer girl. However, this past weekend we decided to take our girls up to stay in a cabin and enjoy the mounds of snow still found in the mountains. It was so nice! We had no cell service, or internet connection, so we were truly unplugged. It felt wonderful to reconnect as a family! We went sledding for hours, cuddled, and sipped hot cocoa. Not many things beat that.

While we were up there I was so grateful to have my Arvo watch, especially since I didn’t have my phone to find out what time it was. I haven’t worn a watch in years because I am usually so picky about them! I miss wearing one, so I’m happy I have found one I love. The sleek, minimalistic style is what drew me to this watch. It goes with just about everything and is comfortable too! Not only that, but the company itself is also incredible.
